The Hellcat has been a favorite model of muscle car for decades now. Sadly, the 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye will be the last model of the Hellcat that Dodge produces. That’s why we were thrilled when a prospective customer from Gainesville, VA, gave us a call to discuss our new car prep services, along with ceramic coatings for his new Challenger Hellcat Redeye.

Showroom Vehicle Damage

The car was in great shape when it was brought to us, but there was a haziness to the paint job and some surface level scratches. This wasn’t completely unexpected since the car was a showroom vehicle. These cars often get minor damage from people brushing up against them and bumping into them while they’re waiting to be sold

Paint Correction and Ceramic Coatings for the Hellcat

We immediately performed a single stage paint correction to remove the light scratches and marrings, and to restore that new car gloss. Next we protected the Hellcat’s outer surfaces. The body of the car is protected with a Gyeon Quartz Infinite Type 2 ceramic coating. For additional protection, the customer requested that we also add a top coat. The rims are coated with a Gyeon Rim Coating, the trim with a Gyeon Trim Coating, and the glass with Glassparency 3 year Windshield Coating.

Tabula Rasa Works Well with Others

To add to that classic muscle car look, an OEM style vinyl stripe in satin black velvet was installed by Exotic Vehicle Wraps in Sterling, VA. Tabula Rasa Fine Auto Detailing coordinated this installation. Needless to say, the customer is absolutely thrilled with the final result.
